Snood & Beret – Wool Katia

Hello Z’amis,

I hope you are well and that the end of year holidays are going well, that you enjoy your loved ones, and that you are overwhelmed with love! On my side it’s cocooning, rest, good and long meals between friends and family.
I do not know if you also winter is back but he decided to settle well. I am a big chilly and I admit it as soon as it is below 10 ° for me nothing goes more (yes I like the excess) and yet I love the snow, in short I cold all the time !

Recently I participated in an evening around the woolen brand Katia in PressConcept . We were greeted by Irma and Marisa who introduced us to the new Katia wools and the novelties for 2015. We left with some small gifts, including a small kit to knit a collar that I share with you today, and a beret. that I created with a ball of wool that I had in addition.

If you too, like my mom, are a little crazy you can wear the snood on your head! 😀

Beret

It is crocheted with the Inca wool of Katia which changes color alone, this is the secret for a pretty beret.

Material:

– 1 ball of Inca color 101 (Color B) 100gr – 100m

– 1 hook n ° 6

You will end each turn with a slip stitch in the first flange and start the row by 3 stitches in the air (which replaces the first flange)

Crochet in a magic circle ( right here ) 12 flanges. Close the lathe with 1 slip stitch.

Turn 2: * 1 flange in the next flange, 2 flanges in the next flange * repeat from * to * = 18 flanges

Turn 3: * 1 flange in the next flange, 2 flanges in the next flange * repeat from * to * = 27 flanges

Lathe 4: * 1 flange in the next flange, 2 flanges in the next flange * repeat from * to * = 40 flanges

Turn 5: * 1 flange in the next flange, 2 flanges in the next flange * repeat from * to * = 60 flanges

Lathe 6: 1 flange in each flange = 60 flanges

Lathe 7: 1 flange in each flange = 60 flanges

Turn 8: Crochet 1 of every 2 braces ( decreases ) = 40 flanges

Tower 9: 1 flange in each flange = 40 flanges

10: 1 flange in each flange = 40 flanges

Lathe 11: 1 flange in each flange = 40 flanges

Round 12: 1 knit tight in each strap = 40 tight stitches

Feel free to change the size of your hook if you tend to crochet tight. What I like with this kind of wool is that each realization berets will never be the same. Have fun, it’s just crochet 😉

And here are the Z’amis, see you soon for other sharing creations. 🙂
