she is not perfect, but very cute become. In between I had a lot of doubt that it will ever look like a mouse. Only the body looks a bit strange. But with each foot and arm, the nose and the ears formed a little sweet little mouse.
Do you remember how I came to “knit” again?
I read about this book in a newspaper “Dog, Cat, Mouse: 36 Knitted Stuffed Animals and Hand Puppets” by Steffi Hochfellner. That’s just this today Steffi Dobbertin of cats-and-hats. What a coincidence, I thought as I came to the side.
In short, zack’s instructions were downloaded and printed out. I took wool from the abundant (haha) supply. The first laps went quickly and easily from the needle. Body and head are knitted in one piece. The head gets its shape through shortened rows.
With the instructions in pictures, it was easy to understand. So far I have none knitted shortened rows So this was a first. In between, the body must be stuffed with stuffing.
The knitting pattern is designed with great attention to detail, the explanations very good and sufficient. That’s the first time I knitted trimmed ranks, and did it quite well, I think.
So, if you have one more little mouse for Christmas want to give away. It’s easy to do, I knitted intermittently. I always want to implement all new ideas / projects at the same time. You know that, too?
Happy needle rattle wishes
