5 hours of non-stop knitting is a good performance, no ?! It’s through the girlfriends of Stitch n’Bitch of Montreal I heard about it: Last Saturday, a special evening was organized at the Lafontaine space in the park of the same name. Knitters invited to come to realize in a given time objects intended to be sold for the benefit of the association Circus Offroad .
No luck that day, I caught bronchitis, I’m almost speechless and my motivation is not part of it. But I gave my word so I put my boots and I crossed the Lafontaine Park under the flakes that fell, right in the theme of the evening …
And what a good evening! During our knitting hours, the Lafontaine space lived to the rhythm of its Nuit Blanche. Performance, exhibitions, projections, animations, the time is spent at a crazy speed on the theme of the cold and the North. It was a pleasure to follow and participate in this beautiful winter evening.
For a more detailed account of the evening and photos of our finished knitting, I invite you to go on Ysabelh’s blog 🙂
