All the methods that the Author Judith Durant has learned in the last 20 years, she introduces in this book. The book is divided into three sections: Increase stitches, decrease stitches as well as combinations and special circumstances
in the first part it’s all about Increase mesh , To be introduced 36 methods for neutral increases, right or left inclined increases and also multiple increases , So there are many increases, which lend the final whistle as a decorative element of the finished knitting or even subtly perish.
This is how the step-by-step pictures look like. I think for each comprehensible and well explained in words and pictures.
Of the second part treated 43 methods to remove stitches , Whether the removal of the mesh serves as a decorative pattern or for shaping requires different methods with single or multiple stitches.
For each subchapter, there is also an overview of features and what this method is suitable for. Very useful for choosing the right method.
Of the third and last part is dedicated Combinations and special circumstances. So increases and decreases for decorative effects, such as nubs, ruffles, lace and braid patterns , But also the shaping especially for structural and lace patterns as well as multi-colored patterns.
A few months ago, I already gave you that Leslie Ann Bestor’s book “Stopping and Dismissing” was published by Stiebner Verlag presented. Together with this volume is laid the foundation of a professional knit library.
