For the kind kindergarten teachers of my boys in kindergarten I have as Christmas present knitted a little something to the box Merci this year.
These snow white poinsettias have become. I do not think it’s perfect (sewing is not mine), but the stars are cute.
For the first poinsettia I needed three evenings (which means about 1 1/2 hours per evening). I knitted two stars pieces, then put them together left to left and then sew each single point together. In between, of course, repeatedly stuffed with cotton wool. The other two went faster, but it was a fumble every time. 🙂
In the middle of the star I have one decorative button with Christmas motive sewn. At the topmost point a band is attached for hanging. I have a small one on the spot Handmade hand sewn firmly as a sign.
Done is a poinsettia!
How do you like my stars? Do you give away little knitted presents?
I wish you a nice pre-Christmas Tuesday
and say see you soon
