She explains in pictures step by step 54 methods for perfect start and completion for knitting projects More specifically, it describes 33 methods for stitching and 21 methods for binding off.
The stop methods divided Leslie Ann Bestor into 9 parts: Basics, Stretchy, Decorative, Round, Double-sided, Multicolor, Temporary, Hose and the Möbius.
I admit, my stop method is the well-known and much used Cross stop. The Italian hose stop I just tried out for my next knitting design. This new project is knitted in Doubleface. Here more soon.
For a happy and satisfied end of each piece of knitting, only this remains Decreasing , Actually I use only the traditional decoupling and the Italian decoupling (again for my Double Face project ).
The author divides the Abkettmethoden in 4 parts: Basics, Stretchy, Decorative, Sewn.
One of my UFO is a Yoga sock , which did not fit over my foot after decapping, now I know for this project perfect stop and Abkettmethoden. Maybe my yoga socks will soon no longer be UFOs. 🙂
This book is absolutely thought out: handy format, ring binding, the subdivision into attack and binding methods and last but not least practical classification for which occasions which methods are suitable (e.g., especially ductile).
As you realize, I’m really excited about the book and would like to advise all beginners and advanced knitters to include it in theirs knitting library take. It’s worth it, especially for your soon to be perfect knitting projects! In any case, it has found its permanent place on the knit basket for me. 🙂
