Be Fun! Be fluo!

Hello everyone,
Remember that summer, or even summer? Because me more … It was the return of the 80s: flashy bags, fluorescent tank tops, sneakers and watches pop color, it was necessary to be extravagant and bring a touch of pep’s in his outfit. I followed fashion! 🙂 Fluorescent bracelets, marcel scalloped to radioactive yellow death, in short the total! 🙂 And I confess that I loved, good by small touches eh … Because the teaktonik look very little for me 😉

So I decided to bring with me in the roughness of winter a little of my colorful summer, I propose (still) a cap, because I love it, and I never have one who Okay, all pretexts are good you will tell me.

This is an ultra easy hat, really 100% beginner, allowing all the splurge of colors or stripes. It is knit with needles 6.5 mm for the ribs and 7 mm for the rest. As much to tell you that in one evening it is done 🙂

Be Fun! Be fluo! I found the ball of yellow fluo at Adriafil, it’s the Mirage. I also cracked for the Bloom, but that’s for later 😉 the gray of the hat is made in Andes de Drops.

With the 6.5 needle fit 62 stitches with the fluo thread (double).

Make 6 rows of ribs 1/1.

The 5th row of ribs is made with fluorescent thread.

When your ribs are finished, take your needle 7.

Start your jersey, rank everything, then rank all the way up.

When the work (ribs + stockinette) measures approximately 16 cm total height begin decreases.

Decreases:

We will make the decreases only on the place of work.

On the row place, knit the first st, * 2 sts, 4 sts, 2 sts *, knit from * to * until the end of the row, finish with a single stitch at the edge.
Rank upside down, everything upside down.
Row end: 1 st end, * 2 sts, 3 sts, 2 sts *, knit from * to * until the end of the row, finish with a single stitch in place.
Rank upside down, everything upside down.

Cut the thread, keeping enough length for sewing.
Sew in invisible seam, retract the thread.

Because for me a hat pompom is too hot, I made a fluo full with my pompom maker. 🙂
