When I visit the website Creative fair Stuttgart from Bloggertreffen I was immediately enthusiastic. Meet like-minded creative bloggers and exchange views. That was my goal, and I was not disappointed. I got to know very nice and incredibly creative and versatile bloggers (and a young man).
For me it was the first blogger meeting and I was unaware of what to expect. At first, the fair team introduced itself around the Kreativ. We all had contact with Marcia before, she organized this meeting. All of us and the trade fair team were looking forward to see who was there, followed by a short introductory round. All bloggers introduced themselves and their blogs.
After the short meeting, there was a chance for everyone Six workshops directly at the exhibitors to attend the fair. All had nothing to do with knitting and wool. 🙁
As it turned out, I learned two new creative topics know. Which, to be honest, I would never have tried on my own initiative. I can not make or draw, I thought.
Stampin ‘Up or how do I make a waterfall card?
First, I stormed with blogger Susanne the state of Stampin ‘UP , There, bloggers, dear Elke, took care of us. My self-doubt wiped her away with a coup. Everyone can tinker. Point. She also made it a little easier, the materials were cut to size. 🙂
|Our helpful Stampin ‘UP – Craft Fairy Elke Mayer,
right next to her is Nicole from marabeeswelt.blogspot.de
Barely sitting at the table, met Heike and Nicole and joined us. Of the Post by Marabees World shows us at the table while crafting. Heike already has a large selection of Stampin ‘UP tools and materials at home and was, so to speak, the pro among us.
These are our starting materials for a waterfall Christmas card:
First is stamped. The beige paper is not spotted from home. As you can see, it is edited with the big stamp. Then it is glued and stamped again, this time the little cards.
Of the Waterfall effect is created simply by proper bonding of the items. Now missing are the snowflakes, which are cut out in the punch
The flakes are glued on and decorated with a rhinestone. Tadaa, my first self-made waterfall card is ready!
Our step by step arises Christmas card with Aufklappmotiv , Besides, we chat with Elke and learn some interesting things about Stampin ‘UP and their products.
In the pictures are unfortunately ugly shadows, sorry, next time I try to do better.
Have you ever heard of Zentangle?
Every one of you is guaranteed to know about these new “coloring books”, Zendala, Zendoodle and Zencolor stumbled. I also noticed them marginally, but never dealt with them in any detail. After all, I can not draw and these works of art must have created professionals !?
Now I’m driving on the creative and think of nothing bad and get infected with the Zentangle (spoken: sentangle) virus. But one after anonther.
Of the OZ-Verlag gave all bloggers the book Zendala: shaping mandalas with patterns , which I read on the long train return on Monday and only continued to be infected. Furthermore, the possibility existed the “Zentangle” workshop to visit, which I also noticed in the late afternoon. The certified Zentangle trainer conveyed the same confidence, everyone can tangle.
Zentangle was owned by two Americans Rick and Maria invented. I want to describe it like that creative, relaxing drawing, which piece by piece too a small piece of art grows.
The one-hour workshop went by quickly.
First you draw with a pencil a frame on the “tile” , Then we divided the area into four areas, simply by painted Z , The first pattern I found especially great. Paint along the edge and fill in small semicircles. Then draw a bow around it and continue until the surface is completely filled.
In the next area roads are drawn.
In the third part we painted flowers and finally a pattern of nothing. Here I have made a mistake and painted over my flowers. You do not actually do that. You can refine your Zentangle with shades and colors.
Here you see my first zentangle , It’s not perfect, but the next one will be better.
Last night I already have mine Zentangle basic equipment ordered. I said yes, the virus got me cold. 🙂
Get Together – Final discussion with the bloggers
The blogger meeting ended with a small one Get together in the press center , Excited and wildly talking bloggers talked about their workshop experiences and shopping. Steffi of creative or primitive? and Anna from dwarf pieces each got a plotter and were overjoyed. I think Anna baptized your new roommate Holger.
Anja and her guys from the blog mes-made have completed all six workshops. A great team!
It was a nice day, I learned a lot
and to browse the blogs, you can find them here a list of all bloggers who kindly provided Marcia from the fair!
Have fun browsing
P.S. My fair impressions of Saturday and Sunday, I show in separate posts.
